SCHOOL HISTORY
Masada, Incorporated was established by Isabelle Jones, the Founder, CEO, and principal, who has dedicated her career to creating high-quality, character-driven education for children, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds. A lifelong educator, Mrs. Jones has served as a teacher and school leader within Gwinnett County Public Schools, where she observed the persistent need for effective educational solutions among underprivileged local children.
Through her extensive experience, Mrs. Jones recognized that while there are several commendable educational options available in the area, none fully address the critical need for developing strong character and personal integrity in students. This realization led to the founding of Masada Prep, a school committed to providing not only exceptional academic education but also an enriching experience that fosters character development. Masada aims to empower underprivileged children to lead fulfilling lives and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
OUR PRIMARY FOCUS
Masada Prep’s primary focus is on our Private School, Day Camp, After School Programs, and Tutoring Services, which together form a comprehensive “Wrap Around” support system for children from early childhood through high school. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, develop leadership skills, and build resilience. We are committed to empowering vulnerable youth through a foundation of grace, truth, and holistic education, helping them rebuild their futures and equipping them to lead with purpose and become positive role models for future generations.
In addition to academic programs, Masada Prep champions creativity and self-expression through our dynamic arts program. Children explore their individuality and innovation through various artistic mediums, including painting, sculpting, music, and theater. This program fosters authentic self-expression and celebrates each child’s unique creative potential.

Masada Prep, is a comprehensive educational program focused on prevention and intervention, dedicated to serving at-risk youth and their families in Metropolitan Atlanta. Our mission is to improve academic performance and develop essential life skills, ultimately aiming to decrease academic failure, behavioral challenges, school dropouts, and rates of incarceration.
In light of the significant rise in local children living in poverty over the past two decades, there is an urgent need for an institution like Masada Prep in Metropolitan Atlanta. This presents a crucial opportunity for us to provide vital education, resources, and motivation for marginalized youth within the community.
Day and Preparatory School
The Masada Prep School is a private K-12 institution that prioritizes a curriculum grounded in rigor, relevance, and a back-to-basics approach to education. We specialize in creating a nurturing yet challenging environment for children who need additional support. Our commitment to delivering high-quality K-12 education specifically targets disenfranchised students and those at high risk of dropping out, significantly enhancing their prospects for a successful and fulfilling future. Since our first graduating class in 2016, our alumni have successfully pursued further education at esteemed institutions, including Georgia Gwinnett College, the University of Georgia, Boston University, and Georgia State University.
